Course InformationThe 2010 Denver Century Ride courses are both scenic and challenging. See below for course descriptions and skill levels. Download Route and Aid Station Map
All routes feature aid stations stocked with water, energy drink, snacks and portable toilets. Mechanical support and medical support will also be available. SAG wagons will rove the course offering road assistance for those experiencing mechanical difficulties or becoming too fatigued to finish. (Please be prepared to handle your own flats and minor repairs.) REMEMBER! HELMETS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL ROUTES. Please ride safely and considerately, and follow all traffic laws. Police have the authority to issue tickets, please pay attention to all state and local laws. Rest - Aid - Fun StationsAid stations will be stocked with water, sports drink, fruit, bagels, muffins, sandwiches, and energy bars. (Please note: not all items are available at all aid stations). Portable toilets will be available. Riders must wear bib numbers (supplied with registration) to obtain food and services at the aid stations and along the route. Download Route and Aid Station Map Medical support will be available at all aid stations, however medical personnel will not be dispensing comfort medications such as: aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol. Participants are asked to bring their own comfort medications as needed. Please be prepared to handle your own flats and minor repairs. Jurisdictional police and sheriff’s department officers will be on hand to make sure your ride is safe and enjoyable. What to bringAid Stations will be stocked with food and drink so you don’t have to load yourself down to better enjoy your ride. We will be well stocked with carbs and other essential nutrients including cookies, fruit, and lots of water. There will also be energy bars and an electrolyte drink. Remember to layer. As is typical in Colorado, the morning is likely to be cool and afternoon can get quite hot. Please be prepared and carry the clothes you will need to moderate your personal temperature. There will be support vehicles on course and mechanics at selected Aid Stations. But stay prepared and carry what you need especially a pump and tube for flats otherwise you may have to wait for the help to arrive. Don’t forget sunscreen, a camera and perhaps a little cash just in case. Rider Registration NumbersAll riders must have their number visible and ride with personal identification. Colorado State Patrol has the authority to remove anyone from the course without a rider registration number. |
